An absolute lifesaver for our local pet community!"I’ve been shopping here for a few months now, and I can't recommend this place enough! They carry a fantastic variety of high-quality foods, treats, and toys that are tough to find elsewhere. The staff is incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and genuinely cares about the well-being of your animals. They even took the time to help me research dietary options for my pet with specific allergies and sensitivities, which saved me so much trial and error. It’s always a great feeling to support an ethical, well-stocked, and locally-focused business. My furry best friend absolutely loves coming in to pick out their own treats!

Sierra Le Bone is hands-down one of the best experiences I’ve had in a long time. From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was welcoming, professional, and genuinely enjoyable. The staff went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect, and their attention to detail really stood out. What impressed me most was the quality and consistency — you can tell they truly care about their customers and take pride in what they do. Every interaction felt personal, friendly, and authentic, which is rare these days. If you’re looking for a place that delivers outstanding service, a great vibe, and people who genuinely know their craft, Sierra Le Bone is absolutely worth it. Highly recommend, and I’ll definitely be coming back!

I have sent so many people to Sierra le bone. They have the best dog wash area. Very knowledgeable on foods to help your fury friends who have different eating or skin issues. The staff is amazing.

Love this store! They have everything I need for my dog. We've been shopping here for a couple years and they have the minimal ingredient food and treats my pup needs with all his allergies. Staff is super friendly every time I come in.

I was unhappy to start because these folks charge $14.95 for 1 pound of lightly cooked Stella and chewy dog food. But I needed the food and bought it anyway. When I got home, one of the packages was broken and I brought it back. At that time I told the owner that $14.99 was just too much. The owner of the store explained to me today that they are a small retail store and if they don’t charge that price they can’t make it. I explained that all the other stores I bought it at we’re also small retail stores. So, not convincing. I found this food, even in Lake Tahoe, for $10.99. Considering the cost of everything else in Lake Tahoe, you would think that the dog food would be far more expensive than in Carson City. Proves my point. Update: Pet Station in Carson City has this very product for $8.99 per pound, not $14.99!
